LOL I care little for the monarchy and IMO they are no longer relevant to Australia, we should be a republic.

It's going to cost the UK government AU$100-$200 million for the coronation, mean while there is 13.4 million people in the UK living in poverty.

The royal family have some thing like $42 billion in assets, don't pay inheritance tax and pay little in income tax.

If I was in Charlie's shoes (aside I would not be married to "it") I would say to the people of England "It is a privilege and honour to be your King, I will not accept the waste of your money on the event of the coronation and we will pay it ourselves and trust that the government will instead use the money they would have spent to help those in need.

I have nothing against the guy, I don't do idol worship but if he did what I would do he would have my respect
