We can see recently that the Australian government invested $840m in loans to Arafura for their hard-rock Nolans rare earth project. Rare Earths as a whole is more diversified in supply than Scandium.
As Scandium is also considered a critical mineral and the supply is controlled largely by China and Russia, if the company was to delineate a Scandium resource, it may be able to solicit support from the Federal government.
The company has highlighted the Scandium potential in the past, but it has been dormant for some time and certainly should be revisited.
