I'm confident that there are talks. The issue, imo, is whether they can reach an agreement or if BHP walks away.
Worth not overlooking this comment from yesterday's article, imo:
"Sources close to the situation said the talks have intensified in recent weeks but significant obstacles remain and the deal could fall apart."
