    I get your point but there is no test to gauge whether a patient has Tinnitus.
    Other than a hearing test and a look at the inner working of the ear to determine if the audio active hairs are damaged. Usually there is a hearing loss with Tinnitus, so a hearing test is carried out as well as looking inside.

    There is also no real treatment that has been scientifically proven other than Bio feedback which is more of a try and see approach. There are all kinds of pills around that claim this and that as is usual.
