    Professor Kathy Griffiths, deputy director of the Centre for Mental Health Research at the Australian National
    University, comments, “Imagine if you had a heart attack and it was treated as though your illness was in your
    head. Imagine being told, and telling yourself, that you are weak and that you should just snap out of this
    illness. Imagine if you were unable to access the treatment that could fix your life-threating illness, and had
    no job or nowhere to live because of it. Sadly, this is what is happening to people with depression every day.”
