Sarig says there is a charo 7 south of charo 3 and thats it (I posted a map on another thread). Obviously they could apply to drill more wells but are more likely to remap and assess what they have.
Charo 6 is basically a 80 acre infill. It is standard practise to appraise on 160 acres (like snatcher 1 and 2), check out production for long enough to gauge the right spacing and then infill to 80 or even 40 acres if the drainage is needed.
I suspect Santos jumped the gun with Charo 6 (between S1 and Ch3) so that S1 would not drain too much of their oil.
All in all a good result for ITC although the success of Snatcher 1 proved up potential to the PPL border without Charo 6 so it is confirmation of the good news of Snatcher 1 rather than an addition.
