I decided to add to my cash stash by selling my SLR shares today in case the gold price does its usual downward move into May/June. I obviously waited too long on the hopium that SLR would do a lot better than it has done with gold being over USD1300.
Unless SLR comes up with some good news, preferably some exciting gold find, there is a good chance the share price will trend down some more, possibly to around 30 cents. The next quarterly report is not due for another 2 months and the US is about to raise rates by another 0.25%, which may finally spur the USD to lift back over 92 cents and drive POG down.
