    Hi ds,
After being bestowed with the honour of being mentioned in Tyler's post yesterday I can't believe I am further honoured with another mention in your latest post.
And not a mere mention - but a permanent feature in your signature block. This is a wonderful day indeed.
I feel it would be unfair of me not to respond so I have taken time out from stroking my nipples to pen this. Howeeer, given that you have me on ignore I fear this heartfelt message may never reach you and my efforts will be in vain.
This situation we are in makes me feel like Rutger Hauer's character Navarre in that movie ‘Ladyhawke’ from 1985. You remember? Isabeau, played by Michell Pfieffer was already in love with Navarre played by Hauer, with whom she secretly exchanged vows. The New York Times said of Michelle Pfeiffer that her "presence, both ethereal and erotic, is so vivid that even when she's represented as a hawk, she still seems to be on the screen." Variety praised the casting of the lead actors, considering Pfeiffer "perfect as the enchanting beauty." Time Out magazine called Rutger Hauer "camp". I feel this is unfair as I thought his performance was okay and I was only 9 at the time.
In a fit of insane jealousy, the Bishop made a demonic pact to ensure that Isabeau and Navarre would be "Always together; eternally apart". By day Isabeau becomes a hawk, and by night Navarre becomes a wolf. Neither has any memory of their half-life in animal form. Only at dusk and dawn of each day can they see each other in human form for one fleeting moment, but they can never touch.
I am glad the Director didn’t try to introduce a love scene when one was human and the other in animal form as this would have propelled the film well above a PG rating and barred it from most cinemas outside of the ACT.
If someone replies to something I post and you don’t have them on ignore then you may see this – if only for a fleeting moment as you scroll the thread.
    "Always together; eternally apart"
    Yours forever
    Tan
