Yeah, this is a possibility, but (politically) I don't see how German and France could permit Greece to leave the Euro. I would place my bets that Greece stays in the Euro but the Euro zone gets a financial system wobble this year, still resulting in a gold price surge.
Either way gold looks like a safe bet for now (touch wood).
