ASX release the previous day's short sales in a text file every day around 12pm

Cboe does as well but they use a csv files.
The website below takes the ASX data and displays it but only from ASX so it's about a 1/3 of actual short sales.

Sites like shortman put it behind a 4-day delay unless you pay but the info is freely available daily.
I use it to get an idea of what's going on behind the scenes. Short sales alone don't bring down a share price but let's say you know someone is about to unload 20 million shares then why wouldn't you take a short position? This has happened a lot to OVT over the last few weeks.
If you look at my post above you will see on the 13/11/2024 a sizable short position was taken, in the chart below look at what happened on the 13th.
Very lucky? I think not.
The OVT chart looks very bullish and yet it is being shorted. So read into that what you will.
Long and short positions are 2 sides of the same coin.
