I agree that the interview is now irrelevant given it was a while ago.
What matters is that he presented his plan to the board at the end of January. So he is still in the game.
If something were seriously wrong, he wouldn’t have just figured it out in the past two weeks, right after presenting his plan.
Either way, It’s an interesting story: an experienced CFO from a reputable BNPL company joins a penny stock with grand ambitions.
What does he see that we don’t? If he pulls this off, he’s set for life in terms of grander opportunities.
I’ll admit that it’s a tough situation to read, given the speculative nature of it all.
