We dont have to go overseas to see how acquisitions is the main way a lot of the smart and successful companies get to the top.

One of the most successful and well known tech companies in Australia got to where it is today through tech acquisitions.

Atlassian still doesn’t have an enterprise sales team 15 years into the company’s founding. But their biggest lever for growth has been to consistently acquire other products throughout the company’s history and integrate them into the existing product suite.

Anyone that thinks acquisitions is bad either hasnt got a clue about the tech sector / saas or are trolling. Most of those on here that complain about acquisitions are most likely both of the above.
