Ahh look...
I am MGT fanboy #1, but I'll believe this when I see it.
I believe practically none of the people who suggested this are no longer working in that area, and I am yet to believe this is much else but a nice idea with a lovely poster... especially since COVID expenditures, etc.
there are important identified components of this strategy that are still very much relevant to us, though.
We are 100% in a tier one area (which is a huge, huge factor for getting finance), and definately are known to gov. Due to the nature of our project and the approvals, processes etc that we'll go through, and due to the royalty potential of our complete mine, we will very much be in the sights of gov favour - in my own strong opinion and theory.
If we pull this together - and with the quality of the team we have on board, and the confidence being shown, it's looking like we will - over the next decade, we'll make aus mining history.
I think I want to also offer the perspective though, that Razorback is just the start. No matter what deals we make this year - we have so much under our belt - allowing us to just get started - which itself, is the only barrier/catalyst towards massive future returns, for those playing long like me.
The world is always going to need iron. You know... there's different types of computers.. different smartphones. Different cars, different brands of food, alcohol. A trillion variations of product.
Iron ore is iron ore, and it will always have a market.
But adjunct to that, and specifically right now - in amongst all the market interruptions - inflation, war, interest rates, etc - we have an ongoing silent revolution towards green.
We've got the green. It's high quality, high %, and we got a plan and a team, and an absolutely massive resource of this stuff.
we've got the DFS for Razorback by Christmas, with adjacent indications around muster and iron peak, and we'll be getting our finance sorted in the interim.
the reality is - if we get finance - no matter what that looks like (within reason of course) - we've got a mine.
hope everyone's having a good weekend.
