I was expecting BPT, to rally today ,after DOW up over 500pts and oil up over 3%. Looks like the Govt, has thrown a spanner in the works, regarding gas intervention.
One thing really annoys me . It takes years and tonnes of money to bring up to production, with no guarantees, of success.
The reason we have energy shortages, is the whole world wants to get rid of fossil fuels, and the world is blaming war in Ukraine, for their short sighted policies, and the dilemma we now face with ridiculous prices for gas/Electricity is going to send business to the wall and mums and dads having to choose whether they put food on the table or pay utility bills.
Renewables are NOT ready to take over 100%. We are in a big mess!
Blackouts will become more common, and destroying economies!
