Yes, they would bounce back very quickly. I do have more bullets to shoot if that will happen. People always remember 2008 because it obviously was very painful. But don't forget at that time gold stocks already were 8 years into the bull market and weren't as cheap as they are now by any measure.
I don't say gold stocks wouldn't suffer at first if we would see a massive price deflation but it might not be as severe as 2008 and I would happily buy more, this would be a really nice gift.
