Yes, but takeovers do happen; and each one is by definition a conspiracy - a secret plot by one cabal to seize the assets of another by every manner of borderline legal manoeuvre, all usually covert until the end-game.
And, really, I don’t think anyone would be stunned if FAR became subject to a bid at this stage.
