All well and good and as I had understood, except for the bit about quick and cheap oxycodone clinical efficacy trials. I hope that some sort of convincing proof of principle studies can be managed, but the studies would not likely be of a nature that would cut ice at the FDA. If the studies could help bring a partner aboard however - let's go.
Meanwhile there is an IND application for oxymorphone to prepare and file, likely not to be accomplished before Q4, IMO. Then FDA action is required before the IND is granted, so we're not likely to see any clinical trials of oxymorphone undertaken in the US before 2015. Hopefully by then a partner will have come aboard.
