Lol you and @Megagem have both now come with hindsight and tried to say I'm wrong but this conclusion is faulty.
You had no more knowledge than I of what the news would be or where it would go but go back to my post and I said the "only reason to buy oa, Is if you believe the price would get to 1.6-1.7"
If you believed that then good on you as it happened but it could easily not have. Putting tour entire house on red and it coming up red doesn't prove the math that red is more valuable than black haha it just means you got this call correct on your belief.
Besides this. As I stated you barely got better leverage than the obs for a far higher risk. And as I also stated, if you plan on exercising you still paid 0.3cents for your oa and then 1c yo exercise when at the time I posted you could but heads at 1c and made more money.
So the math stacks up regardless of the result, you're just trying to use your correct gut call as a way to ignore simple risk and leverage analysis.
