I can't believe that anybody would consider such an underhand act. Why, it would be both immoral and dishonest.
Can I suggest you report these alleged miscreants to ASIC. Being the robust defender of us small retailers that they are, one can be 100% confident that ASIC will put the perpetrators over their figurative knee and give them the damn good spanking they deserve.
