IMO under Listing Rule 3.1 ALC have to announce all contracts which a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the SP immediately. It is over 6 months since the company made such an announcement in March 2021, prior to that we had contract announcements in Dec 20, Nov 20, Jul 20 (when 4 contracts were announced in 1 month) Apr 20, Dec 19, Sep 19, Jun 19, May 19, Mar 19 and Dec 18.
So on average ALC have made a contract announcement every 3 months.
I would have expected the frequency of contracts to increase as the company developed and staffing levels increased despite the pandemic. Most hospitals now have long waiting lists for procedures and staff shortages and need new technology such as ALC to speed up the throughput of patients ( Boris Johnston said today that he would be providing funding for this in UK ). I appreciate that hospital management teams have been preoccupied dealing with the pandemic and our sales team would have a problem gettting anyone to make a decision on contracts.
I still believe that Alcidion is a company with great potential and a strong management team and I am expecting a major contract to be announced any day now ( I admit I have been expecting this every day for the past 6 months ) I also expect ALC to move into new geographical markets soon with the US being the big one.
