I recall one holder with over 2 million shares in his/her SMSF. If that was a significant percentage of the portfolio, I can understand why a halving of the share price would be a concern, (even if it was not accompanied by any substantive negative news).

I have a fairly large holding too but as a percentage of my overall portfolio, it is not make or break.

The recent trading patterns gives me the impression that someone is systematically working the market to have the sp just where they want it.
