    OTC shares, are one way people in the US can buy shares in a company not domiciled in the US, it saves them from having to set up an account outside the US to buy into companies from other countries is my understanding.

    I have some shares in a company that is US domiciled, I got them by default being in an Aussie company, let me tell you it is a real pain in the A for sure.
