This no doubt is very amateur, but one of the line patterns that gets my attention is the rising double bottom with a handle, (similar to a cup and handle). I found one on WOW a while back and it paid off well. The kicker was that I looked mainly in the daily, but found it in the weekly as well. This has happened on another couple of my stocks as well. I think of it as the cursive W, for the little tail it grows sideways or down before running to twice the height of the W. One of the few green stocks in a sea of red at that time.
