No ironfist,it doesn't work that way.These patterns are only reliable at confirmation,in other words it isn't really 3 valleys until it closes at or above confirmation.It would be like selling /shorting a stock on a half formed head and shoulders.I NEVER trade in anticipation of a pattern forming-the temptation is there sometimes but you must have the discipline to wait for patterns to complete.In my early days of trading I got burnt many times buying in on prematurely formed patterns-I learnt the hard way.
