Commy, in normal cases it may be a doji dragonfly or hanging man.

But I believe this to be an exception because of the following reasons:

1. It is after a major announcement - effectively setting a benchmark price for the new takeover offer.
2. The volume traded today is off the charts - to which I am interpreting a solid gap up, as opposed to the last push of the bulls.

That said, my sell order was triggered on the open, and the risk reward ratio of buying in now is not in my comfort level.

My conclusion is this - if you're holding the stock, continue holding until a confirmation of the reversal pattern is here.

If you're not holding, watch and see if the trend reverses/continutes and decide on your entry/exit based on that information.
