I am never aware of ANY new etc coming out of companies. I leave that to the researchers. Though I take note of bits posted on HC to keep informed - if it is really ever of any use! hehe
Sudden external inputs - news etc, good or bad - will always be the bane of accurate charting. Charting is all about the normal ways prices will/must move according to sentiment and human nature. But 'surprise' inputs are also really a fairly rare occurence in percentage terms. ie happens now and then, but less often than true trading paths unfold. Thus it is not overly worrying to me. Just make sure you TRADE WELL to cover any 'surprises' that can turn up ay ANY time to ruin the party!!
But it is good if you see the general vibe is "belief". Which offers some support to resist major falls at least.
