The thing is right, what the market needs to understand about this technology is that it is OPEX based not CAPEX based. That is the same as what Amazon and Microsoft are doing whereby people pay a subscription to the technology on an ongoing basis rather than invest capital in buying the product outright. For example, instead of buying a Windows Server license and 100k for a server, they now just pay Amazon to stand up a VM and pay for use per month etc. It is all about ongoing consistent revenues rather than sales, which makes TV2U quite defensive in a down market as once people subscribe they tend to keep the service going.

So the money with TV2U is all about volume of subscriptions and licenses. This is why these announcements with Akamai and Humax and Divian etc are worth so much. Each subscriber using TV2U's services will owe them a royalty or subscription out of the Akamai revenue for that client etc. Divian etc 800,000 subscribers. If TV2U gets just $1 per month per subscriber, that is $800,000 revenue per month - just from this deal alone! What if they get $2? How many subscribers would use Apple TV if their association to Akamai results in trailing commissions to TV2U ? How many live in China if they subscribe to government run service?

I don't think people have any clue to the potential.
