Thank you C K , If the Saudis get wind of the Trump plan ' and they should , as the new oil minister was educated in the U S ' they should start to turn back the taps . If they don't , then you will see the smaller Arab States peeling off and jockeying for the the restricted US market share . Now I know that I am getting way ahead of myself here . But Trump is now talking future American Trade and Foreign Policy , which have been Obama's weak points . By putting an embargo on foreign oil , a floor price on shale to protect American oil , and the game is over . Many will cry market interference , but the Saudis have effectively subsidised there oil by as much as $88 pb at its lowest and currently $ 65 pb.
