What GFC - look at the close today re the SP. Intraday doesn't matter much. Trading at .355 now.
To address your quesiton:
1. Anytime. But it wont only be news that drives the SP. The "opposite" to the exhaustion move at .665 has an opposite. Natural accumulation and short covering will move it also.
2. It is true. I suspect it is also a defensive move against hostile takeover.
3. I expect news much sooner than that. a few weeks to a month would be my guess - but expect the unexpected.

I cant advise what you should do - I am buying at the moment, if that helps.
