"nothing to do with fundamentals" ahhh, so what?
this seems to be the standard HC view: short term, technical analysis, is pure evil, and long term fundamental is pure good. its a ridiculous view, its stubborn, its anti-intellectual, it's close minded, it's unwilling to learn.
if you sell a stock, its not always because you hate the stock and hate the people who own it and would love nothing more than to see the stock go to $0. sometimes its because you're pragmatic at managing risk, maybe because you have a stop loss, maybe because you saw it was at the top of its trend channel and you just want to milk a few $ out of it...
maybe you even really like the stock, and plan to buy it back later...
