That is what I am gambling on....
1) They find a way to decrease the current break even production cost of 76 CAD (either by finding a way to cut the production cost or increase in coal price), the current coal price is actually at 72 CAD.
2) For the environment factor, coal is still the cheapest form of power production, but there are crack down on low quality/cheap coal that has saturated the market, which will help the coal price stabilised to hopefully around 100 CAD (or more) for future years.
