It strikes me that there's currently a lot of low level churn at present in a number of biotech stocks, with each week or two another becoming popular and having a surge in price, and eventually waning as there are no new announcements. ADO had this a month ago, NEU and ANP also, and the last few days it's BIT. None of these shares are turning over close to $1 million of shares in a day so it doesn't appear that large buyers are involved. I'd guess it was traders flocking to what's hot this week.
