    EXCELLENT DIAMOND PRODUCTION CONTINUES FROM NAMIBIA
    Marine diamond mining operations in the Diaz Prospect 1 (“DP1”) Joint Operations (“JO”) mining area, offshore Namibia continues to deliver strong production results. The previous best production of 3,189 carats (“cts”) in April 2007 has been exceeded in May 2007 with the recovery of 8,578 diamonds for 3,529cts at an average of 0.41ct/stone. Total production from commencement of mining to 31 May 2007 now stands at 24,971 diamonds for 10,756cts at an average size of 0.43ct/stone. Typically, marine production from Namibia comprises approximately 95% gem quality diamonds.
    Production from ML111 DP1 JO area totalling 9,429 diamonds for 3,864 carats
    To date a total of 6,716cts have been sold at an average price of US$222/ct generating total sales revenue of US$1,492,649. A further sale of production comprising approximately 3,850cts is expected to be completed in June 2007.
    Selection of gem quality diamonds mined from ML111 DP1 JO area
    The JO mining agreement is with Diamond Fields International Ltd (“DFI”), and mining is being conducted within the DP1 JO area within DFI’s mining licence ML111, where a 63,000 carat Indicated Resource was defined by Bonaparte in 2006. Mining is being carried out by DFI using their dedicated mining vessel the MV DF Discoverer. Bonaparte has the right to 30% of the proceeds from the sale of diamonds recovered during the mining operations and is obligated to pay 30% of the operating and sales costs.

    Bonaparte’s Managing Director Mike Woodborne said “These are great results for the mining operation and we are extremely pleased with the continuing success of the Joint Operations with DFI. Looking forward, we anticipate finalising discussions with DFI shortly, to expand the scope of the ML111 Joint Operation activities to increase the resource assets and future mining reserve for the project.”
    “With regard to other activities in South Africa”, he added, “The Company is in advanced discussions with two parties to secure certain highly prospective alluvial and primary diamond projects. These projects are located onshore in a proven diamond producing region of South Africa and have potential for early diamond production and cash flow.”
