    I think once the Fed actually announces the taper then the gold stocks will finally start to rise. Currently they are pricing in the Fed taking away the punch bowl too soon - but we all know that is not going to happen. The Feds balance sheet and interest rates are going to be accommodative for a long time.
    Similar thing happened in 2018 - the gold stocks started going up only after the jawboning turned into actual hiking.
