Possibly because the bottom of the highlighted downtrend was formed with the lows of mid-Feb and late April? I even put a few red arrows in there to clearly highlight it - I'll stick some bright neon lights on it next time just for you.
A narrow line of thinking would be ignoring the very unbiased nature of the chart: I may have pointed out a rise in the SP right now, but I've also very clearly highlighted a downtrend in the SP, even so much as indicating a potential cap to the SP before it drops down again.
Pull your head out from behind you, champ.
