Yes I know the grant came from the DOD. But the media is putting the headline right on top of a soldier saluting the flag. The implications are as big and clear as can be made. It is a defence thing !
Not so bad because it makes it look seriously solid. Big business. Deep state. That kind of thing. But goes to show how the media can misrepresent something so easily.
The funding via DoD is purely an administrative thing.
