For stocks that don't have a habit of leaking price sensitive information, you are 100% correct that charting can't predict the liklihood or timing of important announcements but that's not what it's meant to do, as mentioned.

I thought it was funny how the masses got stuck into Musashi69 on the NWE thread, telling him the charts can't possibly be useful for a company with significant newsflow due. Funny thing is, he's called it bang-on for the last six months, despite plenty of newsflow arriving. Horses for courses...
