Well, I stayed off HC until I saw the announcement today. Gutted for holders, but no real surprise, as a few of us had tried to warn you all about the risk a loss would pose to the share price.

This is why we do risk vs reward scenarios at CURRENT PRICES to ascertain the VALUE we are receiving. Prudent investors would have stayed out until a decision was forthcoming.

So, where to now? Firstly, you will see 14 critical support fail spectacularly. Next, you need to start looking for support lines. Most critical is 10 cents, where the demarcation line is between 0.1 and 0.5 lots.Unfortunately. 14 cents is now MASSIVE resistance and I suspect a certain poster is going to have to downgrade their perpetual 20 cent calls ad infinitum, if they are wise...

Anyone that is feeling a bit emotion - DO NOT PANIC. I have been through this type of scenario before and it is almost always a bad decision to sell on the day (or even worse, first thing at open). Wait a few days to ascertain a support level, then reconsider if you want to sell. As some posters keep harping on about, BRL has very good FA, and that should continue on for a while. If need be, revisit your thesis for investing a few times and don't watch the SP trading all day - it does no good!

One final message: Ignore the charts at your peril! Might even consider buying a few myself now (for a trade, of course...)
