as a final postscript, the reason I've argued optimistic cases from the two charts is to provide a contrarian view on a thread where everybody is despondent seeing the SP falling like a lead balloon. Whats the point of putting a chart argueing the downside when anyone who's not braindead knows we're in a downtrend? Everyone can see the downside, they're experiencing it everyday.
