Multiple factors favour gold. Inflation , conflict, uncertainty in other asset classes . I think many think this war will just stay contained to Ukraine. But Putin want's Baltic states which is NATO + major conflict if it happens and China still has its eyes open ready to pounce. Gold is a ticking time bomb and putting money down into a value orientated miner like RRL is a no brainer.
Oil and Grains have already moved, I don't trust Oil holding high for extended periods as OPEC and/or individual nations will eventually turn on more taps to maximize profits. Once Gold hits highs it tends to linger there and not retrace, at least not with the volatility of crude.
