Odd thing is Gold in AUD is actually holding up pretty well. Only thing I can think of is AUDUSD. Battle royal on at the 0.70 mark, if this is lost we could flush down maybe all the way to covid low at 0.58/9. That would increase costs such as diesel across the board, diesel by the way is breaking out, this would affect everyone though not just goldies. The narrative around the USD has also changed to higher for longer, so market thinking gold activity will be muted for the next quarter or so, maybe more of a reason? RRL def getting into value territory. If get back to around 1.70 will be back in.
