RRL’s capex and exploration costs in 2023/24 totalled $160m. While it is projecting an outlay of between $170 and $195 million in 24/25 (according to its latest presentation).
So in real terms this equates to an additional outlay of between $2.5 m and $9 million each quarter by RRL in capex and exploration in 24/25.
So we shouldn’t expect too much of a negative impact on its cashflow and cash build this FY - especially relative to the growth in the gold price (up by $1,000 per oz from 12 months ago).
Good luck and personally I am going to hold my small stash for a while longer. Although it is certainly not without risk.
