@ Beserkwarrior: Gold price at the closing of the Tropicana deal was around AUD 2.250. Even with the recent pull back it did not dip under that price and is around 2.500 again, which gives more than 10% plus on gop and more than 20% plus on NPV. Anyhow on announcement of the acquisition RRL SP got hammered by around 400 million (an estimate based on my observations of the total NPV of RRL before and after the announcement of acquisition and factoring in the capital raise), so market participants seem to calculate with an NPV of around 600 million for Tropicana.IMO that is too low, especially with a gop well above AUD 2.250. Based on these observations alone RRL does have upside potential even at current gop. That is also confirmed by calculating to be expected EPS for FY2021/2022.
