Sorry strat. But you understand little about real life trading. I know several high net worth traders and through them have heard of countless more. Perhaps you are moving in the wrong circles and relying too much " returns or events can not neccessarily be used to determine future returns"
One thing that I will say is that I agree with you that 90% of traders lose money. Perhaps you should look into what kind of traders these people are. You'd find that most have no clue about what they are doing ie risk management, position sizing, price/volume analysis, no experience and so on.

ps...using your 90% stat...what percentage of investors in specs lose money? 95%?
