Thanks for the input Musashi - much appreciated.

However - wouldn't your assessment be more accurate of a rising wedge such as this:



Where as we have a parallel or even potentially falling wedge such as this:



I guess I don't see much of an incline or decline in the wedge angle hence I'm tempting to think the following of it:

My interpretation ties in with the fact the market is expecting news - hence we see that trading "wedge" - it doesn't get too high as the news might not be great - it doesn't get too low because the news might not be that bad.

Again - just how I try and use all assets available to me to form an opinion.

And like I said - complete and utter chart novice here so I'm glad to hear your considerably experienced opinion.
