If it went up 10% on no news, I would still be asking the whys' because I am only interested in the sustainability of the move up or down. As you know in financial markets a price spike with big volume does indicated something abnormal. I have been "celebrating" a few price spikes prematurely in the past at the time only to experience the downfall of an unsustainable move to remain objective, no one can remove emotion completely but the less we react the more objective we can be more informed in the decision whether to add or sell.
But today's sell off certainly came out of nowhere, why is that? Wish I know ....
