Not sure how to answer that.
Have been on HC fo 13 years or so and in the market for 24.
I started in the mining sector from around the early 2000's and concentrate more so on that now.
It takes time but after following some posters that I found of value, your resources grow.
You make contacts and it is nice to cooperate with others.
I try to keep respectful communications throughout because even some of the more quiet individuals can really surprise me.
Read as much as possible and keep focus.
Do as much research for yourself and form your own opinions while being flexible enough to adopt alternatives.
Keep up with the companies you are invested in and don't be frightened or intimidated preventing you talking with company directors.
I have spoken to many of them.
I always look at companies where directors do not make themselves available as taboo.
Read all the announcements and then re read them.
If you're anything like me, it takes a long time to sink in so I have to read things a couple of times.

I weed the garden from time to time and rotate funds to make sure my portfolio is moving in the right direction.
Just ordered 2 more books on geology and will recommend them if I think they are worth it.
