I don't know about j powell. Yes the economy is going to crash but my opinion is he should have done it earlier. The fact is that inflation only comes down once people start losing their jobs. Otherwise businesses just charge more and employees demand more pay.
And people are addicted to their lifestyles.
I predict we are looking at at least 3 years of stagflation.
J. Powell's hawkish comments have paused gold but the general pressure is strongly up.
