Just hope all the good folks in the exploration camp are hunkering down ready for the cyclone to come! Looks like our dream run with the weather over the past few years is about to end. Port Hedland is likely to be close to ground Zero on Thursday or Friday, with the BOM issuing a major/extreme flood alert for the DeGrey river system nearby. Presumably the same for all the rivers in the DeGrey holdings.

Hopefully the camp and kit is all designed for it, but I imagine it will significantly slow exploration and development studies for a month or two while damage is repaired and the boggy ground dries out.

At least this will be a real test for the Hemi site to see if the area proposed for the plant and the initial pits is subject to flooding or not. I remember one early brokers report was wondering about the flood risk. Here comes the test!

Although Gmeister, I think it will also wash away all the drill pads and drill samples so the satellite images will be a clean slate in the future!
