So while todays' close does not quite meet the $1.67 ATH (which was intra-day) for our little battler, according to my chart $1.63 is the highest ever daily close for DEG.
For me this is cause enough for some quiet celebration, but bigger celebrations to come for DEG this year and onwards, add to that new ATH for gold this year and more of that going forward as well. Gold is shaping very nicely for an ongoing bull market, for me this will in large part be due to sovereign debt and the closely related Gov't Bond markets. Gold will rise with the US$ confounding many, the bull market in gold will be largely on the back of a loss of confidence in Gov't ability to manage debt or our economies.
